State of the Economy Conference

8754_16_New_Economics_banner_resized.pngAn invitation from John McDonnell MP, Shadow Chancellor, to the National State of the Economy Conference. On Saturday 20 May, all day in central Birmingham.

Over the next year, we'll be building on Jeremy Corbyn's vision of an economy that works for all, and discussing detailed proposals for the next general election.

I'm asking you, all party members and experts from the world of economics and beyond to join me in in Birmingham. We'll be laying out the policies our country needs to build a future where prosperity is shared, and where no one and no community is left behind.

What? National State of the Economy Conference
When? Saturday 20 May, all day
Where? Central Birmingham

Our conferences this year in Liverpool, Glasgow and Newcastle have discussed important questions around the fourth industrial revolution, green transition, alternative models of ownership and the creative economies. On 20 May we'll be hearing from a number of leading economists and members of the Shadow Cabinet to take these ideas forward and discuss other key areas of policy for the Labour Party.

I hope you can join us there. Book your place at the 'State of the Economy' conference now.
