Metro Mayoral Campaign (Larkhall Square)

lesley-mansell.jpgLesley Mansell, the Labour South West Mayoral Candidate, was at Larkhall Square on Saturday morning 18th March from 10 am.

Lesley Bees (our Communications Officer, and Bath Labour Party member) was at the event. She reports;

Lesley Mansell, Labour's candidate for Metro Mayor, was in Larkhall on Saturday, supporting Labour Party members and the Save our 6/7 Bus campaign. B&NES Council have cut the subsidy for these routes resulting in the re-routing of the services, which has caused local residents considerable disruption in their daily lives. The local shops in Larkhall have also reported a downturn in taking. Lesley spoke to local residents and helped get signatures for the petition to have the subsidy re-instated.
