Introducing Labour's Candidate for the Newbridge By-Election

Pam Richards

I have lived in Newbridge for over 40 years, working as a Social Services manager with older people and people with disabilities.  Now I am retired, I enjoy looking after my grandchildren and having time to campaign on local issues.  I was heavily involved in the successful campaign to stop plans for a Bus Rapid Transit route cutting through Newbridge.  I currently co-ordinate a campaign group (Protect Our NHS) to try and stop cuts, privatisation and fragmentation to the NHS locally.

Vote for Lesley Mansel for Metro Mayor

Lesley_Mansell_launch2.jpgThe Metro Mayor election is a real chance for Bath Labour voters to make their vote count. The Tories are slightly in the lead at the moment. Turnout is expected to be low, so get out there and vote for Lesley Mansell. In the run up to the General Election this is an important vote.
